That’s what Francesco Totti discovered yesterday, when he met Nikita Simonyan, Vice President of Russian Football Association, thanks to Fabio Capello, current coach of Russian National team.
Simonyan, who received a signed jersey from Totti, told the Captain: “I’m very fond of your football, I know you’ve no money worries but you could choose to end your career in Russia, I can find easily some teams ready to make you sign an extremely rich contract. If you call me, I can find an offer for you in less than 24 hours“.
In Russia, the closest clubs to Simonyan are the Moscowites Spartak and CSKA. Totti was very surprise and just answered: “I’m very grateful, but I don’t know… Well, you can never know…“.
